Croatian Women’s Alliance goes live with online launch event

Seeks to connect professional Croatian women’s organizations globally

Sydney, Australia & Zagreb, Republic Croatia, February 16, 2023 – Eight Croatian professional women’s networking organizations have come together to form the Croatian Women’s Alliance (CWA) with the goal of connecting and uniting female leaders of Croatian networking associations globally into one powerful voice and to create a platform for future generations of leaders.

“Recognizing that there are numerous Croatian women’s networks for professionals across the globe, we saw value in creating a more formal alliance to share events, invite cross-attendance and connections among our memberships and build stronger ties with entrepreneurs, business owners, corporations, agencies, non-profit organizations and governments,” said Sonja Palić, chair, CWA and co-founder of the AUS-NZ Croatian Women in leadership organization. “We really would like to become a dynamic global network of Croatian women’s networking associations.”

CWA will formally launch with its first online event on February 23, 2023 at 21h CET. The event will be headlined by keynote speaker, Major Antonija Trupiniċ, test pilot and flight instructor in the Croatian Air Force. It will also feature introductions of the co- founder organizations which include:

• Sonja Palić, chairperson, Co-Founder, AUS-NZ Croatian Women Inleadership, Australia & New Zealand

• Vedrana Likan, founder, LeaderSHEtm, Croatia

• Caroline Spivak, founder, Croatian Women’s NetworkTM/Mreža Hrvatskih Žena, Canada/Global

• Wanita Kelava, manager, Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Canada

• Dr. Jelena Nadinić, founder, CROACTIVAS, Red de mujeres croatas de Latinoamérica & Executive Secretary, CACIC Cámara Argentino Croata de Industria y Comercio, Argentina

• Martina Osmak, VP International Cooperation, Professional Women’s and Men’s Network (PWMN), Croatia

• Dinka Kalinić, Member Representative, Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP), USA

Three more online events featuring keynote speakers are planned throughout 2023 with details to follow at a later date.
