Luka Modrić makes 50 greatest players ever list

Croatia captain Luka Modrić has been included on a list of the greatest football players ever in the world by the prestigious British magazine FourFourTwo, HNS said today.
Modrić was ranked No.28 on the list of the 50 greatest players ever.
FourFourTwo said that, among other things, becoming European champion five times with Real Madrid and leading Croatia to the silver medal at the World Cup in Russia in 2018 confirmed his position of the one of the greatest ever.
The magazine also said Modrić winning the Ballon d’Or in 2018, ending the long-standing Messi-Ronaldo duopoly, was one of the that greatest moments of his career.
Ranked behind Modrić were greats like Thierry Henry, Ruud Gullit, Socrates, Raymond Kopa, Rivaldo, Stanley Matthews, Romari, Bobby Moore, Paolo Rossi…

The greatest player of all time according to FourFourTwo magazine is Lionel Messi, in second place is Pele, and in third place is Diego Maradona.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Johan Cruyff, Zinedine Zidane, Franz Beckenbauer, Alfredo Di Stefano, Ronaldo and George Best made up the top 10.
