Dinamo Zagreb’s new Argentine goal keeper Pablo Migliore had a debut to remember, saving a penalty during his side’s 4-1 (1-1) win on penalties over Hajduk Split in the Croatian Super Cup on Saturday night at Maksimir stadium in the capital.
Dinamo Zagreb took the lead through Duje Cop in the 34th minute, before Hajduk Split equalised with 15 minutes to go from the penalty spot. With the match locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes, it was down to a penalty shoot-out to decide the first trophy of the season. Dinamo’s summer signing Migliore proved to be the hero, saving Ivan Tomicic’s spot kick. Dinamo coach Krunoslav Jurcic was quick to praise Migliore, saying the Argentine brings a lot of experience and stability to the side.
