Tara Begedin is crowned the new Miss Zagreb

Tara Begedin has been crowned Miss Zagreb in a pageant last night and will now represent the city in the Miss Croatia for Miss World 2024 pageant.
The first runner-up was Helena Medved, with Ana Usmiani the second runner-up.
“Tara is a young, very promising ballerina and jazz dancer, who is only seventeen years old, and is already achieving great success in what she does. She attends opća gimnazija and speaks English and Italian. In addition to dancing, this young beauty loves volleyball and athletics very much,” said Iva Loparić Kontek, owner of the Miss Croatia license and director of Miss City of Zagreb.
Eleven girls, beautified by Profokus, walked the runway in the creations of Q fashion, Calico Mood, with Tvornica naočala glasses, Cyber Look jewellery, dresses by designer Natalija Smogor, wedding dresses by Nikolina and formal evening dresses by Boujee.
Tara’s victory was the unanimous decision of the jury, which included, among others, Tihana Harapin Zalepugin, fashion agent and mentor of the TOP MODEL category, Zoran Škugor, entertainment manager and mentor of the TALENT category, famous basketball player Gordan Giriček, who today has his own brand of glasses with a Croatian signature in cooperation with Tvornica naočala, Miss Croatia 2014 Antonija Gogić Bračulj, Miss Croatia 2019 Katarina Mamić.
Amir Kazić Leo performed on the night, which was hosted by Davor Garić.
The new Miss Zagreb and her runners-up were given gifts from Sepa Logistika, MED LINE, Health and Beauty Center, pilates studio Manola, beauty institute Dharma, Danyella Yachting gift packages from Tiens Hrvatska, Eliza coffee, Povartak winery and maskice.hr.
Ivančica Pahor, Tamara Roglić, Sanja Bjedov Popović, who were entertained by DJ Saša Šoštarić, enjoyed the wonderful Stil Event ambience, which was arranged just for the Miss Zagreb event by Flora Garden Center, Le Ballon and Eva Maria Florist.
