Croatian Football Federation achieves best financial results in history in 2022

The Croatian Football Federation held its regular assembly session at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb on Monday, which was chaired by the federation’s president, Marijan Kustić.
During the session, Kustić delivered a speech in which he expressed his belief that the federation will continue to prove itself as the most successful and best sports federation in Croatia, HNS said.
He emphasised the importance of small communities and vowed to continue improving the infrastructure of the federation to an even higher level.
Kustić also expressed his satisfaction with the new Law on Sports, which will enable greater investments by the state in stadium infrastructure. Additionally, he mentioned the construction of the national camp as a significant step forward for the federation’s infrastructure.
The assembly also approved the final accounts for 2022, presented by the head of the finance and accounting department, Ružica Bajrić. The federation achieved record revenues of HRK 507,688,457.86 (67,381,837.93 Euros) and recorded expenses of HRK 409,057,780.74 (54,291,297.47 Euros), resulting in a record profit of HRK 98,630,677.12. (13,090,540.46 Euros).
Bajrić expressed her pleasure in announcing that the federation achieved its best financial result in its history.
The realised surplus of income will be transferred to the fund balance and used in years when the federation realises a deficit of income in relation to expenses or for strategic goals. Bajrić also assured that the federation will continue to support clubs and county associations through financial donations, infrastructure investment, tournaments, and equipment.
The assembly session was attended by representatives from FIFA and UEFA, Lorenzo Cavallari and Luca Nicola, respectively. The general secretary of the Croatian Olympic Committee, Siniša Krajač, and the honorary presidents of the HNS, Branko Mikša and Mladen Vedriš, were also present and delivered speeches.
Amongst many achievements and sponsorship deals, including agreements with Sorare and EA Sports FIFA 23, the major highlights in 2022 on the pitch were Croatia’s 3rd place finish at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and reaching the Final Four of the Nations League.
