The Executive Committee of the Croatian Football Federation has decided that the next home game of the Croatian national team will be played at the HNK Rijeka stadium.
After the June finals of the UEFA Nations League in the Netherlands, the Vatreni will continue their European qualifiers for EURO 2024 in September.
On September 8, the Croatian national team will host Latvia, and the match will be played at the HNK Rijeka stadium, starting at 8:45 pm.
Three days later, Zlatko Dalić’s side visit Armenia.
After the matches played in March, Croatia shares the top spot on the table with Wales (four points each), followed by Turkey with three points.
At the bottom of the table are Armenia and Latvia, who have not won any points, having played only one game each.
The two best teams in the group will qualify directly for EURO 2024.
Croatia is undefeated in Rijeka, having played a total of 18 games (15 wins, three draws). At the Rujevica stadium, the Vatreni have won five times and drawn twice in seven matches, with a great goal difference of 20:3.
The Croatian team will be looking to secure three points against Latvia to maintain their position at the top of the table.
