Croatian motorways are expected to sign a refinancing agreement for a loan of 1.572 billion euros with ten Croatian banks by September 30 of this year. It has been confirmed by HAC to Jutarnji list that they will also sign an agreement with seven Croatian banks for a new loan of 600 million euros.
Through this refinancing and new borrowing, they will secure funds of 1.35 billion euros for the completion of the motorway from Metković to Dubrovnik, as well as from Križišće to Žuta Lokva.
Furthermore, HAC says that this will ensure approximately 35 million euros annually for regular investment maintenance of the motorways and the operational functioning of the company.
According to available information, the agreement with the banks regarding refinancing and the new loan is nearing completion.
The government is determined to construct the motorway through Croatia to Dubrovnik, as well as the one from Križišće to Žuta Lokva.
