Croatia wins 13 medals at 3rd European Games

ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) – Croatian athletes have won five gold, four silver and four bronze medals at the 3rd European Games in Krakуw, Poland, which is their best result at the European Games in terms of the total number of medals and gold medals won.
Gold medals were won by shooters Anton Glasnović, Giovanni Cernogoraz and Federico Ravalico in the men’s team trap event, as well as by karateka Anđelo Kvesić and taekwondoins Ivan Šapina, Lena Stojković and Ivana Duvančić.
Croatian silver medallists at the 3rd European Games are shot-putter Filip Mihaljević, boxer Gabrijel Veočić, taekwondoin Lovre Brečić and the ten metre air rifle men’s team, while bronze medals were won by taekwondoins Kristina Tomić, Nika Klepac, Paško Božić and kickboxer Antonija Zec.
At the 1st European Games in Baku, Croatia won 11 medals, including one gold, and at the 2nd European Games in Minsk four years ago, Croatian athletes won eight medals, including two golds.
