VIDEO: Zadar Archipelago’s biking gems captivate in new promotional film

Nine tourist boards of the Zadar Archipelago have joined forces to develop projects focused on outdoor tourism, and they have released a new promotional destination film with a focus on biking.

The Zadar Archipelago is renowned for its beautiful nature, untouched islands, picturesque locations, crystal-clear sea, and stunning landscapes, making it an ideal destination for outdoor activities. In this regard, three key activities will be promoted: biking, hiking/running, and kayaking. In addition to producing the promotional film, the island tourist boards are also working on developing cycling trails on the islands and creating informative bike maps to further enrich and enhance their offerings.

Biking plays a crucial role in the development of the tourist product in this area as it provides an authentic island experience and promotes sustainable tourism. Future visitors will have access to diverse routes and terrains where they can explore traditional fishing villages, picturesque island landscapes, and enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and sunsets.

“We believe that by uniting our offices, we have achieved a sense of unity, and with the development of an active tourist product, we are on the right path to promote and protect our islands. We have focused on sustainable activities that will further highlight what we have and what makes us unique in the world,” say the representatives from the Zadar Archipelago.

The award-winning company Level 52 from Labin was responsible for video production. The destination film, titled “Zadar Archipelago – Inviting Adventure,” showcases the extraordinary beauty of the Zadar islands and takes viewers on a journey through unique locations in the Zadar waters. Through a series of short but impactful scenes, the film highlights the diverse landscapes of the islands and the various opportunities for cycling.

“We hope that this first film with a focus on cycling will be inspiring and attract adventure enthusiasts to our islands.”

Considering that work is underway to develop three products, another film focusing on hiking and running is currently being shot, and next year, one dedicated to kayaking activities is planned. The purpose of these films is to present the Zadar Archipelago as an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
