Croatian city named among World’s Top 5 Coastal Cities

One Croatian city has been included on the list of the world’s 10 best coastal cities.
Based on their number of cultural attractions and popularity on Google and social media, the 10 best coastal cities in the world have been ranked with Split in Croatian coming in 5th place.
The research, conducted by Olsen Cruise Lines, involved 117 coastal cities worldwide. The goal was to find cities that are not entirely isolated, offering sufficient amenities while providing a relaxing seaside experience.
Claiming the top spot was Reykjavik in Iceland, thanks to its numerous cultural attractions and events, along with a high number of museums and galleries, earning it the most points.
Coming in second was Bruges, which is not technically on the coast, as the nearest shoreline is 11 kilometres away, but it was considered due to the canals running through the city.
Naples took third place owing to the abundance of attractions one can explore there. Monaco secures fourth position, closely followed by Split.
