Rijeka steps: Croatia’s largest fashion event set to take place again

With 13 fashion shows announced, the largest and most glamorous summer fashion event in Croatia for years is set to be bigger than ever.

The traditional Riječke stepenice (Rijeka steps) will take place on September 1st this year. 

On the steps beside the Bonavia Plava Laguna Hotel in Rijeka, a total of thirteen fashion shows in one evening will mark the fifteenth anniversary of Croatia’s grandest fashion event. 

Ivana Delač, Director of Riječke stepenice, announces a rich fashion program that will once again capture the interest of numerous tourists visiting the Kvarner region, as well as the Croatian public.

“The FW’23 collections will be presented by Vesna Sposa, who celebrates thirty years in business with her return to Riječke stepenice. Also showcasing their designs will be Lux Camicie by Irena Anđelić Devčić, GiVa design, Butik Rival, Damir Tau, Ghetaldus Eye Optics Rijeka, the Italian School of Fashion and Design Callegari, La Tramp, Lav Lux LC by Zorana Rogošić, Calico Mood, and students from the Rijeka School of Commerce and Textiles. Under the Craftsmen’s Association and the Textile and Leather Sections, Sandra Jamić – Ela Tailoring Service, Željkica Kezić – D’image Tailoring Salon, Patrizia Sertić – My Leather Story, Senka Mitrović – Butik Rival, Tajana Tepšić – Mali atelje TT showcasing their jewelry, Adriana Rajčić – Adriana Rajčić Design, Gorana Nedić – Miau Couture, Marinela Martinčić Knez – Ella Tailoring Salon, Jasminka Blečić, OK Design Tailoring Service, and Maja Perman – Ma’at Fashion Atelier will present themselves. The 15th Riječke stepenice will be concluded by VARTEKS with their men’s and women’s collections,” explains Ivana Delač.

Hair trends will be demonstrated by Perman studio stylists, while makeup novelties will be showcased by Paola Peček, Patrizia Jaklin, and Greta Karamarko.

From the Dante terrace of Dr. Vivian esthetic’s corner, well-known figures will appear in the television broadcast on Kanal Ri during the breaks between fashion shows. This year introduces the Škoda Enyaq Coupe RS electric car in a mamba green colour, presented by Porsche Inter Auto. The car is the official vehicle of the 15th Riječke stepenice. 

The audience can also expect a musical program by DJ Sale For Love.

Entrance to the fashion shows is free for all attendees and everyone is welcome on September 1st at 9 PM at the 15th Riječke stepenice.
