VIDEO: Ivan Perišić stars in new film promoting his hometown

Croatian football international Ivan Perišić is the main star in a new promo video promoting his hometown of Omiš.
Perišić, who is proud of his coastal hometown and even has a tattoo of Omiš on his calf, appears in the new Omiš Tourist Board promotional video called Operation 4.
The plot of the new promotional video, which is directed by Danijel Bolić, and written by Bolić with Srđan Laterza, is inspired by Ivan’s returns to his hometown, where a real euphoria arises among the locals, followed by a search for their famous fellow citizen.
“World-renowned football star Ivan Perišić, a World Cup medalist, welcomes you to discover his hometown of Omiš, Croatia – boasting pebble beaches, medieval fortresses, and a rich culinary heritage,” the Omiš Tourist Board said.
There is also mention of the famous Omiš fortress, pirates and local soparnik dish. Operation 4 is named after Perišić’s shirt number for Croatia.
