Trogir is charming at any time of the year, but this Mediterranean town, protected by UNESCO, gains a special charm during the holiday season.
That season begins after the celebration of Stivanje – the Day of the Town of Trogir – on the feast day of St. John on November 14th.
Tony Cetinski will perform that night at Ivana Pavla II Square to mark the occasion and as a prelude to what will be an exceptionally rich Advent program.
The sixth edition of Winter Adventure in Trogir begins on December 1st with a concert by Maja Šuput, followed by performances throughout December by some of the best Croatian and regional music names: Jelena Rozga, Vesna Pisarović, Leteći odred, klapa Cambi, Jura Stublić, Giuliano and Dikatori, Indira Forza ex. Colonia, Marko Kutlić, Kuzma and Shaka Zulu, Ivana Banfić, Petar Dragojević, Latino, Željko Krušlin and more.
The completely free program of one of the best winter festivals in central Dalmatia will run from December 1, 2023, to January 6, 2024.
More than 40 events over 36 days will take place at two locations – Ivana Pavla II Square, where there will be 3 catering stalls, and the “7 palms” Square with one catering stall on offer.
In addition, locals and tourists will enjoy concerts by Trogir bands and performers, while the morning program is reserved for children’s creative workshops, performances, and interactive activities.
Those who find themselves in Trogir during the Winter Adventure can expect a wonderful holiday atmosphere, lively ambiance, and socialising while tasting seasonal gastronomic delicacies and mulled wine, all under the festive view of the city centre, which this year will be enriched with new sparkling ornaments and decorations, a beautiful Christmas tree, and snow figures of Christmas motifs.
For all visitors and guests of the Trogir Advent joys, free parking will be provided throughout the Winter Adventure period at all city parking lots.
“We are already eagerly anticipating the holiday euphoria with plenty of musical and entertainment content, and more details about the program will be announced in the days following the celebration of the City Day in mid-November. We hereby invite everyone to the opening of Winter Adventure on Friday, December 1st, at 9 pm at Ivana Pavla II Square with the performance of Maja Šuput in the holiday atmosphere of the city of masters,” Trogir Tourist Board said.
