The award-winning Istrian winery and distillery Rossi, located in the village of Bajkini near Vižinada, once again played host to a big event in the world of the automotive industry.
At the end of October, one of the most renowned global brands unveiled its latest highlights at this beautiful Croatian estate – the new BMW from the 5 series, the fully electric BMW i5, and the powerful electric BMW i7 M70 xDrive.
The authenticity of one of the oldest wineries in Istria, currently the only one with a helipad, the unique atmosphere of the Istrian village, the tranquility complemented by top-notch award-winning wines and spirits, as well as the gourmet offerings with the signature of the Rossi family, proved to be a perfect match for luxury brands like BMW, which organised an attractive event for journalists from the region for the second time in less than six months at this magical location.
Following the spectacular May event “Legendary Moments by BMW,” the organizers were so impressed by the ambiance of the Rossi Winery that they arranged the regional presentation of the latest models at this Istrian estate.
Journalists and BMW influencers from Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Croatia had the opportunity to test the exceptionally comfortable and technologically advanced BMW models on the most beautiful terrain possible – driving through the picturesque autumnal Istrian landscapes.
“We are extremely honoured that BMW has once again chosen us as their partners in presenting the new models. The trust placed in us means a lot, and the excellent feedback from the guests is an indication that we are moving in the right direction, and that our hard work and love for what we do are being recognised and appreciated,” says Filip Rossi, who, together with his parents Ines and Marino, and his brothers Marko and Luka, manages the family winery and distillery.
The story of the Rossi family’s wine tradition dates back to 1885 when Federico Rossi planted the first vines of Istrian Malvasia and Teran on the hill above the Mirna River. Over the long-standing tradition, a modern winery and distillery have flourished with premium labels that are offered in renowned restaurants and at the beautiful estate, offering a view that stretches from Učka to the sea.
“To life worth living for,” or “za život vrijedan življenja,” is the slogan under which the fifth generation of the Rossi family works, and the dedication with which they approach every aspect of their business has been recognised by BMW, who once again offered their business partners an inexhaustible Istrian experience as a new face of luxury.
