FIFA World Rankings: Croatia ends 2023 in Top 10

Croatia’s national football team have stayed in the Top 10 in the world for 2023 after the final FIFA rankings of the year were published on Thursday 21 December. 

Croatia who finished the year on a high, winning their last two Euro 2024 qualifiers to advance through to next summer’s tournament in Germany, end the year in 10th place. 

Croatia is ranked just below Italy. 

World Cup holders Argentina ends the year in no.1 spot in the world in the rankings, followed by World Cup runners up France. 

England, Belgium and Brazil make up the top five. 

Croatia will next be in action in March when they begin their build-up for the Euro 2024 tournament. 

Zlatko Dalić’s side has been drawn in Group B.
