Andrea Bocelli, the beloved world-renowned tenor and best-selling classical music artist, celebrates an incredible 30-year career in 2024.
To mark this occasion, Bocelli returns to one of the world’s most beautiful outdoor stages – the Pula Arena in Croatia, where he will hold a unique concert under the stars on August 30th.
For the past three decades, this icon of classical and pop music has touched the hearts of millions with his voice and inspired many artists with his life. Now, we have the opportunity to experience him once again in Croatia, chosen as one of the stops on the map of celebrating the artist’s great milestone.
Born in Italy, he began his journey by performing in piano bars and competing in local singing contests. He gained fame in 1994 by winning the newcomers’ section of the 44th Sanremo Music Festival with his performance of “Il mare calmo della sera”.
Since then, Bocelli has recorded 15 solo studio albums spanning pop and classical music genres, sold over 75 million records worldwide, and achieved success as a crossover performer, blending classical music with international pop charts. His albums like “Romanza” and “Sacred Arias” have broken records, and his song “Con te partirò” remains one of the best-selling singles of all time.
Bocelli’s accolades include being named one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People, winning awards for his duets, and receiving honors such as being made a Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
