Due to exceptional response to his announced Croatia concert in the summer, Andrea Bocelli has added a second concert.
The beloved world-renowned tenor and best-selling classical music performer will now perform in the Pula Arena for two consecutive nights, on August 30th and 31st.
Bocelli will be in Pula commemorating an incredible 30-year career.
“Due to exceptional audience response, the favourite tenor of our time, Andrea Bocelli, has accepted the invitation to hold an additional concert in the Pula Arena on August 31st this summer,” promoters Charm Music announced on Friday.
Born in Italy, he embarked on his journey by singing in piano bars and participating in local singing competitions. He rose to fame in 1994 by winning the newcomers’ section of the 44th Sanremo Music Festival with his rendition of “Il mare calmo della sera”.
Since then, Bocelli has released 15 solo studio albums, spanning pop and classical genres. He has sold over 75 million records worldwide and achieved crossover success by blending classical music with the international pop charts.
Albums like “Romanza” and “Sacred Arias” have shattered records, and his song “Con te partirò” remains one of the best-selling singles of all time.
Bocelli, who has sold over 90 million copies of his releases to date, performed at the Pula Arena in 2005.
