Four years after its premiere, the documentary film about the life of legendary Croatian basketball player Dino Rađa (56) is now available to the public for free.

The documentary film, “Rađa” delves into the journey of his illustrious career.

Following its premiere in Croatian cinemas, Rađa contemplated the film’s distribution, considering the numerous inquiries from fans about where they could view it. Eventually, he decided to release it for free on the internet, ensuring accessibility for all fans.

The documentary, directed by Vojan Koceić, itself spans three years of production, chronicling Rađa’s trajectory from his formative years through various basketball milestones.

From his roots in Split at Jugoplastika to his stints in Virtus Roma, Boston, Panathinaikos, Olympiacos, Zadar, Cibona, and Split, the film encapsulates the essence of his journey. Rađa’s achievements, including European championships and Olympic medals, serve as a testament to his dedication and skill.

The documentary was filmed in several cities across Europe and the United States and provides a comprehensive view of Rađa’s impact on the sport. Condensing 300 hours of footage into a compelling 80-minute narrative was no small feat.

Dino had an illustrious career, winning two EuroBaskets, two Olympic silver medals, and numerous other accomplishments. He is the Croatian national team’s second all time scorer and was one of the players in the first wave of European talent to come to the NBA.
