The project of cleaning the basketball home of Dražen Petrović in Zagreb attracts more and more citizens of the city of Zagreb, and above all many foreigners who live in the city, reports Flash.hr.
Last Saturday, they decided to allocate 3 hours of their time to remove as much graffiti as possible from Zagreb’s temple of basketball.
Zagreb entrepreneurs Tin Vodopić, owner of the company 23. Dimension, which produces M8 solution graffiti cleaner, and Sven Vučinić and Domagoj Čule from the company Green Dam j.d.o.o. (Inside and outside cleaning), also decided to join the project. Sven and Domagoj also brought their miniwash.
The cleaning mission was also supported by well-known supermarket chain Studenac Market. They donated food and drinks for hard-working volunteers.
Not even the members of Justus Reid’s Tik Tok team – Matthew McKenna and Camilo Soza – could resist the delicious bureks, nor did the former basketball player of Cibona, Igor Lukacic, who was the only one tall enough to reach the graffiti on the tops of the windows.
Although his mother threatened to remove him from her will because she saw him on television cleaning, and he never cleaned at home, one of the initiators of the action (along with Justus Reid) and Cibona’s marketing promoter, Josip Novosel aka Dear Leader Joe, took up the sponge and clean again.
“We would like to thank all the investors, citiy of Zagreb and volunteers who help us restore Cibona to its former glory, and especially the ambassador of the Netherlands, Charlott Van Baak, who has been helping with the cleaning for two Saturdays in a row with her family. If you want to join us, come this Saturday behind Cibona from 10 am – 1 pm,” Novosel said.
