Slunj is renowned for its charming lower district, Rastoke, known for its quaint waterfalls and meticulously preserved corn mills, dating back to the 18th century. Rastoke, named after the river branches, is a picturesque area where the Slunjčica river, locally referred to as “Slušnica,” cascades over numerous waterfalls before joining the Korana river. Additionally, Rastoke is home to 22 water mills.
