Croatia ranked in Top 20 Most Beautiful Countries in the World

8 May 2024 – Croatia once again finds itself ranked among the most beautiful countries in the world by travellers. 

Rough Guides, a world-respected hub travel enthusiasts, have compiled a list of the 20 most beautiful countries in the world based on votes from readers. 

Croatia has been included among the 20 most beautiful countries in the world, being ranked 15th by avid readers for its beauty. 

Croatia captured the hearts of Rough Guide readers during voting, with one respondent praising its “islands, mountains, wine, olive oil, history, culture, and the sea”.

Another stated: “Croatia is the most beautiful country I have visited”. Croatia’s spectacular beaches were not the only factor in the large number of voters selecting it. 

Croatia’s National Parks, such as Plitvice Lakes, heritage-rich cities like Dubrovnik, and world-class wine and cuisine, also played a part in securing votes.
