Two shopping mall projects in the eastern Croatian city of Osijek, which have been in limbo for a number of years, are set to be complete and may open their doors within a few months.
Eurodom, situated near Tvrđa, was expected to open in 2008 but complications forced delays but now management are expecting doors to open on the 4,100 square metre mall shortly. Tennant’s wanting to occupy shop space inside the mall have already started to make enquiries. Agram, who own Eurodom, say that they do not see another new mall, the Kappa Centre, which is set to open, as competition. The Kappa Centre, located in the heart of town, was due to open in 2010 but failed until January this year when two cafes on the ground floor and the basement began operating. Kappa Centre management hope to have full tenancy in their 2,700 square metre mall by the end of the year.
