Meet the Miss World Croatia 2024 contenders from Zagreb county

The Miss World Croatia selection begins, and one of these girls is vying for the title. Who will succeed Tomislava Dukić as the new Miss World Croatia?
Tomislava Dukić was crowned Miss Croatia and will compete in the Miss World competition next spring. As the beautiful Tomislava prepares for the 72nd Miss World, county competitions kick off for a spot in the 30th Miss World Croatia final.
The first of twenty county selections is Miss Zagreb County for Miss Croatia, happening this Friday at the Public Open University Hall in Velika Gorica.
Seven beautiful girls will vie for a handmade crown by designer Ivana Milun.

Each winner of the county selection, making it to the final, will wear this delicate crown adorned with emerald and moonstone gemstones. The contestants will showcase the new fashion collection by the Croatian brand Calico Mood and walk the stage in Nikolina bridal gowns. Makeup will be done by Profokus, and Blowout bar will style their hair. The program will be hosted by Davor Garić.
“I’m thrilled that the selection has returned to Zagreb County after four years. Special thanks to the sponsors, the Zagreb County Tourist Board, the City of Velika Gorica, Mayor Krešimir Ačkar, the City of Sv. Ivan Zelina, the City of Dugo Selo, White Poppy flower shop, Balon center, Amuerte gin, and Chelos bar, where the casting was held and where the official after-party will take place,” said Iva Loparić Kontek, the owner of the Miss Croatia license and director for Miss World.

INES OPAČIĆ

20 years old, 171 cm tall, studying Information Management. She enjoys traveling and walking her Pomeranian dog in her free time. Speaks English.
ANA TUTIĆ

26 years old, 172 cm tall, in her fifth year of Medical School. She has been playing soccer since she was eight and also enjoys cheerleading. Speaks English.
MAGDALENA PAVLEČIĆ

18 years old, 176 cm tall, a senior at the Sports Gymnasium in Zagreb. She has been playing soccer for ten years and also enjoys playing the tambourine and guitar. Speaks English and German.
ANDREA BURTINA

21 years old, 165 cm tall, studying Economics. She plays the piano, enjoys drawing, and hiking. Speaks Italian and German.
MANUELA MLINAR

25 years old, 180 cm tall, studying Entrepreneurial Management and Communication. She plays guitar and piano, volunteers for the Red Cross, and is a professional model. Speaks English, German, and French.
