This year, Croatia has welcomed 3.4 million tourists so far, who have generated 10.4 million overnight stays, approximately 11% more than last year.
When it comes to tourist arrival numbers, the capital Zagreb is the most popular destination in Croatia so far in 2024 with 417,828 visitors so far this year.
Dubrovnik is close behind in second place with 303,003 tourist arrivals so far in 2024.
Split, Rovinj and Poreč are next.

Among individual destinations, the city of Zadar recorded the highest increase in tourist overnight stays, with a growth of 24% compared to the same period last year.
Excluding day visits from cruise ship passengers and other guests, the eVisitor system data shows that Zadar has so far welcomed 160,985 tourists, who have achieved 428,052 overnight stays.
This currently represents the highest growth index in tourist traffic in Croatia. Dubrovnik follows with a nearly 20% increase, then Pula and Medulin with 11%, Zagreb with 7.5%, and Poreč with a 7% increase.
