The most beautiful and quietest rally in the world finished with an award ceremony on June 1, 2024, in the city of Šibenik.
The 11th edition of the international “Nikola Tesla EV Rally Croatia 2024” started in Istria, passing through the Dalmatian islands of Hvar and Brač, with stops in Split, Trogir, and Zadar, before finishing in Šibenik.
The rally featured seven days of driving on panoramic roads along a 1,050 km route through stunning landscapes and national parks, with plenty of attractions along what is officially called the “Green Electric Route.”
The event officially started in the town of Rovinj with an accreditation ceremony and a fun program for all visitors.
It continued along the coast to Split, where participants boarded a ferry to the island of Brač. They visited the Museum of Stone in Pučišća and Vidova Gora, then sailed to the island of Hvar the following day.
The stunning view from Fortress Fortica on Hvar, along with the natural beauty of the Pakleni Islands, left participants breathless.
The next destination was the town of Split, where the vehicles were displayed in the harbor while participants visited Diocletian’s Palace, St. Duje Cathedral, Peristil, and even touched the thumb of the Grgur Ninski Statue for good fortune.
A visit to Trogir included stops at St. Lovro Cathedral, Palace Ćipiko, and Fortress Kamerlengo. In Zadar, participants experienced the most beautiful sunset in the world, as Alfred Hitchcock once said, and visited the Sea Organ, Kalelarga, and the Church of St. Donat.
The award ceremony was held in Šibenik, a town rich in cultural heritage and home to several UNESCO-protected sites like the Cathedral of St. Jakov and Fortress Barone.
Participants also visited Krka National Park and the Nikola Tesla Memorial Center in Smiljan, the birthplace of Nikola Tesla.
This luxury e-tour, with its unique and innovative concept, combines e-mobility, ecology, and green technology. It offers participants the best of Croatia’s cultural heritage, natural beauty, and culinary experiences, promoting Croatia as an “e-mobility” friendly destination and creating a new niche in the tourism market.
The rally attracts an international field each year, mostly from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the UK, the Netherlands, and even the USA and Canada.
Organisers are proud to continue promoting the best Croatia has to offer in tourism, supported by our partners such as HTZ (Croatian Tourist Board), FZOEU (Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency), local communities, and private partners such as Croatian Post.
