Telašćica Bay: The Largest and Safest Natural Harbour

One of the park’s most remarkable features is the vast and sheltered Telašćica Bay.

Recognized as the largest and safest natural harbour in the Adriatic, the bay is a haven for sailors and marine enthusiasts.

It stretches 8 kilometres inland and is surrounded by 13 islands and islets, with six smaller ones dotting the bay itself.

These islets, including Korotan, Galijola, Gozdenjak, Farfarikulac, Burnji Školj, and Donji Školj, add to the picturesque scenery, making the bay a perfect spot for exploring by boat or relaxing by the water.
