“We are grateful that our efforts have been recognised. Being first in Europe based on over 20,000 reviews is a significant achievement for us. It’s not just a success for our winery but also for the entire Croatian wine tourism sector.

This title is further confirmation that we are on the right path, giving us the energy to continue following our vision, caring for our guests, and representing our region to the best of our ability. It inspires us to continue developing the Komarna wine region as a destination we can all be proud of. It feels like we’ve won the European Championship!” said Damir Štimac, owner of Rizman Winery and pioneer of Croatia’s youngest wine region, Komarna.
