Highest sea temp in Croatian history recorded in Dubrovnik today

15 July 2024 – The highest sea temperature in Croatia since measurements began by the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service (DHMZ) has been recorded today.
Today in Dubrovnik, at 5 PM, the sea temperature was 29.7 degrees Celsius.
This breaks the previous record held by the island of Rab, where 29.5 degrees Celsius was measured in 2015.
According to DHMZ, today’s sea temperatures did not drop below 26°C, and exceeded 29°C in Mljet, Malinska on the island of Krk, and Crikvenica.
