The “Trag u beskraju” event celebrating the legacy of the late legendary Croatian singer Oliver Dragojević is set to take place for the sixth consecutive year.

The beloved singer passed away back in 2018 and he will once again be remembered in his hometown of Vela Luka on the island of Korčula with a series of concerts.

This year, the concerts in his honour will be held from 26th to 31st July, featuring performances by Zorica Kondža, Petar Grašo, Dalmatino, Tomica Bralić and Klapa Intrade, Guliano, and this year’s winner of The Voice Croatia, Martin Kosovec.

“Trag u beskraju” begins on Friday, 26th July, with a concert on the ferry “Oliver” travelling from Split to Korčula. Ante Gelo, who is also the music producer for the concert, will be performing along with Jure Brkljača and Dino Petrić.

The day will conclude with a pub quiz about Oliver, titled “Dvi, tri riči”, held in the courtyard of the primary school in Vela Luka.

A major concert is planned for Sunday, 28th July, on a pontoon at the Vela Luka waterfront, featuring performances by Petar Grašo, Jelena Rozga, Zorica Kondža, Dalmatino, Guliano, Martin Kosovec, Tomislav Bralić and Klapa Intrade, among others.

This concert will be broadcast live from Vela Luka on HRT. Speaking about the aim of the concert, Ante Gelo said, “From the very beginning of ‘Trag u beskraju’, our only wish has been to gather once a year to remember an incredible musician and friend, preserving those memories year after year through music and the camaraderie of all of us who had the privilege of sharing a wonderful life of performing, recording, playing, and travelling with him.”

The final day of the event will also be dedicated to music, with a jazz evening featuring Antonio Serrano and Federico Lechner.

This jazz concert will also be held in the square in front of the church.
