Turkish side Besiktas’ new Croatian coach Slaven Bilic has made his intentions clear to his new bosses which players are on his shopping list for the new season.
Bilic, who joined Besiktas in July after being sacked from FC Lokomotiv Moscow, wants to sign former world player of the year Ronaldihno, Emannuel Adebayor, and Croatian Vederan Corluka, who was with Bilic in Moscow. Besiktas have been negotiating with Altletico Mineiro for the services of the 33-year-old Ronaldihno for over a month, and Bilic says he hopes they get their man.
“We are very serious when it comes to Ronaldinho, it would be great to work with such a player,” said Bilic. Although for now Corluka remains a FC Lokomotiv Moscow player, his agent has said that anything is possible in football.
