Croatia Airlines celebrates 35th birthday with discount on flights

Zagreb, 17 September 2024 – In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Croatia Airlines, Croatia’s national carrier, is offering a special deal for passengers.
Passengers can enjoy a discount on regular airfares as part of their 35th anniversary promotion.
From Friday, 20 September to Sunday, 22 September, passengers can receive a 15% discount when purchasing one-way or return tickets for all domestic and international regular flights operated by the airline in the upcoming 2024/2025 winter schedule.
This applies to flights from 27 October 2024 to 29 March 2025.
The discount can be claimed by using the special promo code “35GODINA” when purchasing tickets on the website www.croatiaairlines.com, through the Croatia Airlines app, or at other sales points.
35th birthday
Zagreb Airlines d.d. (Zagal) was established in Zagreb on 7 August 1989 as an air transport company, starting operations that December with postal delivery services.

Around a year later, on 23 July 1990, the company was renamed Croatia Airlines d.d., becoming the country’s national carrier for passenger, cargo, and mail transport.
Croatia Airlines’ first passenger flight occurred on 5 May 1991, connecting Zagreb and Split, marking the start of regular domestic flights. International service began on 5 April 1992 with a flight from Zagreb to Frankfurt, linking Croatia to the global network.
