VIDEO: Trailer for ’Canary Black’ filmed in Croatia released

The trailer for the film Canary Black, which was filmed in Croatia, has been released this Tuesday and has already had over 200,000 views.

The film showcases some of the most iconic locations in the Croatian capital, Zagreb.

Canary Black tells the fictional story of Avery Graves, a top CIA operative who is blackmailed by terrorists into betraying her own country in order to save her kidnapped husband.

Cut off from her team and isolated, Graves must rely on her connections in the criminal underworld to survive and locate the crucial intelligence the kidnappers are after.

The film’s official trailer, now available, teases high-octane action scenes set against the backdrop of Croatia’s stunning capital, Zagreb.

Viewers can expect to see some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks throughout the film.

The production team selected over 130 different filming locations, including Kamenita Vrata, European Square, Cvjetni Square, Tuškanac, Dubravkin Put, and many more.

Actress Kate Beckinsale, who stars as the lead character, spent a lot of time filming in Zagreb and was not show to show her love for the city on her social media.

The filming process in Croatia spanned over 50 days.

Canary Black, which was one of the largest film projects ever undertaken in Croatia, is set to be released on Amazon’s streaming platform soon.
