Zagreb Burger Festival returns in October

The Zagreb Burger Festival, the region’s most popular and creative street food event, is set to return to Trg Dr. Franje Tuđmana from 10th to 20th October.

Known as the “father of all street food festivals,” the event brings together 13 carefully selected vendors, offering a mouth-watering selection of gourmet burgers, drinks, and desserts.

From award-winning chefs to exciting new talents, this year’s festival promises an unforgettable culinary experience for burger enthusiasts.

Festival favourites such as Mate Janković’s Bacon Jalapeño Burger, voted last year’s best, and Ivan Pažanin’s Crispy Kapula Burger will be on offer, alongside fresh creations that are sure to impress.

Vendors like Picnic Mingle & Fun, with their famous Blackie Burger, and Burger Bar, known for their Signature 2.0, will be returning with a mix of classic hits and new delights.

Good Food will also showcase a variety of options, including their Old Fashioned Burger and the Italian-inspired Caprese Pesto Burger, while Thai Thai Streetfood will bring an exotic twist with their Tom Yum and Peanut Pad Thai Burgers, featuring authentic Thai flavours.

In addition to the burgers, visitors can indulge in sweet treats from Ice Crone, who will serve their viral croissant-ice cream creation, and savour delicious drinks from the Staropramen and Rakijarnica bars.

There will also be a dedicated cocktail stand, Ginglebells, offering 23 unique cocktails to complement the festival’s flavours.

The event isn’t just about food. Entertainment includes live DJ performances curated by Ozren Kanceljak, two free concerts featuring Connect and Kuzma & Shaka Zulu, and a variety of activities for visitors.

For those who enjoy a challenge, the Food Quiz by Metro on 15th October offers a chance to win prizes, while art lovers can take part in a painting workshop or explore the Zg Street Art Festival’s creative sessions. Children can enjoy the expanded Zagi kids’ zone, complete with trampolines, inflatables, and more fun activities.

Running daily from noon to midnight, the Zagreb Burger Festival is a perfect spot to enjoy great food, music, and entertainment in the heart of the city.
