Zagreb, October 10, 2024 – Pluma Studios, an innovative publisher of personalized books, has embarked on a new business venture in collaboration with Lidl Sweden (Lidl Sverige).
This project marks a significant step forward for the small Croatian company, known locally as the Dream Factory (Tvornica snova), as it continues to conquer the global market with its innovative B2B and B2C solutions.
Their latest product, Laga din egen saga, is a personalized story and cookbook that brings families and children together for an unforgettable culinary experience. This project is the Swedish version of Lidl’s hugely popular campaign in Croatia called Skuhaj priče svoje (“Cook Your Own Stories”).
Laga din egen saga is the result of nine months of work by a team of 20 experts. The book comes in five different versions to reflect the diversity of family structures: child + mom, child + dad, child + mom + dad, child + two moms, and child + two dads.
The aim is to include every child and family, regardless of their form and size, allowing them to create their own unique book where they are the main characters.
“Our mission is to empower children and bring families together worldwide. This project in collaboration with Lidl Sweden reflects our commitment to that vision. After months of hard work, we are proud to finally present a project that combines cutting-edge technology with the good, old book,” said CEO and co-founder Goran Galetić.
With more than 170,000 different character combinations, including options like eye shape and color, skin color, hair color, and various hairstyles, each book is as unique as the child reading it. Creating the characters is a fun process, as parents and children can choose the details that make up their personalized character together.
This collaboration represents a huge step for Pluma Studios, which, despite its humble beginnings, has been working with one of Europe’s leading retail chains for several years. With this project, they reaffirm their status as a leader in the segment of personalized products for children and families.
“At the beginning, many told us we wouldn’t succeed, but with a lot of hard work, vision, and dedication, today we stand behind a project that broke all readership records in collaboration with Lidl Croatia, and it has already delighted the Swedish market. Laga din egen saga is not just a book – it’s an experience that connects families through creativity, cooking, and play,” added Galetić.
