China has announced a significant update to its travel policies aimed at bolstering tourism and business connections.
The move is part of efforts to rejuvenate its economy.
From November 30, citizens of nine additional countries, including Croatia, will be able to visit China for up to 30 days without the need for a visa, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
Alongside Croatia, the newly added nations include Bulgaria, Romania, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Estonia, Latvia, and Japan.
This expansion brings the total number of countries with visa-free access to China to 38.
The move is expected to facilitate easier travel for Croatian tourists and businesspeople, potentially boosting bilateral exchanges and opportunities.
Currently, Croatian citizens have visa-free or visa on arrival access to 183 countries.
