After starting in the cities of Rijeka and Osijek, and then spreading to Zagreb to break up the Zagreb Radio Taxi monopoly in the Croatian capital in 2011, Taxi Cammeo are set to shake-up the taxi industry in the rest of Croatia.
In 2014, Cammeo plans to make an assault on the rest of the country by having a presence in all major towns in Croatia – including Varazdin, Karlovac, Split and Sibenik, writes Poslovni dnevnik.
“Our goal next year is to enter every larger town in the country,” said Cammeo owner Vladimir Minevski, before adding. “In 2014 we plan to get 200 franchisees. Every future taxi driver who becomes part of the franchise will get complete support from the Cammeo group.”
Cammeo currently have over 500 employees in Zagreb, Rijeka and Osijek. Taxi fares have come down considerably since Cammeo entered the market in Croatia. (foto: Cammeo)
