Inflation at 3-Year Low in Croatia

Croatia’s annual inflation levels dropped to the lowest since 2010 last month, according to a report yesterday from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics.
Inflation, as per the consumer price index, dropped sharply from 1.9% in August down to 1.1% in September, which is the lowest rate since August 2010 when consumer prices only rose 0.9% year-on-year. The largest price rise in September was again in the food department, with prices jumping 2.6% in September from the previous year. Housing costs and utility bills rose 1.5%, whilst clothing and transportation prices both fell 2.3% from the year prior.
