Dubrovnik Welcomes Millionth Cruise Passenger

The last Sunday in October has seen six cruise ships visit Dubrovnik, Croatia’s best destination spot in 2013, according to recent Croatian Tourism Board awards, with the 9,000th passenger this year visiting the city.
Today at Port Gruz cruise ship Costa Clasica has bought in the city its one millionth cruise passenger tourist in 2013 this morning. According to information from Dubrovnik Port Authorities, this year 711 cruise ships will visit the popular stone-walled city, with the last ship scheduled for 24 December. The biggest day in 2013 was 25 August, when 16,000 cruise ship passengers visited.
