Tourism and Croatian Wines of Interest to Hong Kong

Croatia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vesna Pusić has met with Croatian Honorary Consul in Hong Kong Gordon Wu on the last stop on her official visit to China that began on Monday.

Pusić also met with Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Government Carrie Lam, with potential business investment in Croatia from Hong Kong the main theme. Hong Kong officials feel that Croatia’s entry into the European Union opens up doors for bilateral partnerships, especially in tourism and with Croatian wines. Pusić started her offical Asia visit in China with a visit to Beijing, where she met with the Vice Premier, the Foreign Minister, Chairwoman of the National People’s Congress, and the Deputy Foreign Minister. In Shanghai she also held talks with the mayor and visited the Pudong free trade zone.
