More data from the latest census in Croatia has been released, with some surprising revelations. Around 60,000 apartments in Croatia do not have a bathroom the report says, with those residents sharing facilities with their neighbours communally.
The most recent census, conducted almost 2 years ago, showed that 88% of ‘households’ owned their own apartment, with only 215 people out of the 4.2 million homeless. The standard apartment in Croatia is mainly a 71-square-metre three-bedroom place. The census also shows that Croats do not like to move. Almost 40% of them stay their whole lives in the same apartment. 11,000 men also in Croatia defined their employment status as “house husbands”.
