Overall, industrial production output increased by 1.1% in the EU in September 2013, with the largest year-on-year increases in industrial production output registered in Ireland (11.7%), Romania (8.9%), and Slovakia (7.5%). Croatia found itself at the wrong end of the report, making up the largest year-on-year- reductions (3.9%) with Luxembourg (4%) and Italy (3%).
When it came to month-on-month statistics Croatia feared no better, again at the bottom (3.3%), with Portugal (11.2%) and Luxembourg (4.1%). Industrial production output rose in 16 countries and reduced in nine in September 2013 compared to the same month in 2012..
