Croatia will be without their in-form striker Mario Manđžukić for just one match at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil…
Croatian FA President Davor Šuker announced on Friday that FIFA had informed the FA of their one-match suspension handed down to Manđžukić for his red card offence against Iceland in Zagreb on Tuesday night. The Bayern Munich striker has been in red-hot form for both club and country this year, and coach Niko Kovač will no doubt be breathing a sigh of relief after Friday’s news.
“We are happy with the decision.” Šuker told the media on Friday.
