After Croatia sent out a clear message to the international community this weekend that it was not quiet ready to embrace same-sex marriages, its Minister of Tourism has tried to ease fears among those in the world’s gay community who might be put off travelling to Croatia on holiday…
Minister of Tourism Darko Lorencin says that despite media reports of a suggested boycott of Croatia from the gay community, he is not worried.
“Croatia is a tourist country where every tourist is welcome. We will try to make that clear to everyone,” said Lorencin, adding that it is the Ministries official stance on the issue and that carries some weight.
“I invite all, like up until now, or even more to come. As Minister of Tourism I guarantee them a good time in Croatia,” concluded Lorencin. (pic: Wikimedia Commons)
