From 1 January 2014 the gross mandatory monthly minimum wage in Croatia will be 3,017.61 kuna (395 EUR), 32.38 kuna (4 .10 EUR) more than the current amount. The formula the government uses to calculate the minimum wage includes taking into consideration the ratio between the minimum and the average salary in the country, and also the state of the economy.
