Revenues from tourism are expected to pass the magical 7 billion euro mark when official statistics are released for 2013..
The Croatian National Bank (HNB) has released preliminary figures for the first 9 months of 2013, with revenues up 4.7& from the same period in 2012. Revenue from foreign visits to Croatia totalled 6.59 billion euros up until October, and the 7 billion euros mark is about to be broken when figures for the last three months are released. It will be the first time since 2008 that revenues from tourism in one year exceeded 7 billion euros. Revenues are likely to exceed 7.1 billion for 2013, but not likely to pass 2008’s 7.46 billion euro year.
