Still No Sign of Winter in Croatia – +17°C Next Week

Croatia’s spring-like winter has left some casualties in its wake, with bees and pršut producers suffering losses as a result, and it does not look like winter is around the corner either with temperatures of 17 degrees forecasted for next week…
The weekend forecast is mainly fine with temperatures in continental Croatia between 6-12°C, whilst on the Adriatic coast they will be higher – between 11-16°C. Temperatures will heat up even more on Monday and Tuesday next week, reaching highs of 16°C inland and 18°C on the Dalmatian coast. There has yet to be any significant snowfall this winter in Croatia, forcing the cancellation of the World Cup skiing event Snow Queen earlier this month. Zagreb had the warmest 5 January since records began.
