For the third time in six years the Croatian national football side will head to Bad Tatzmannsdorf in Burgenland to prepare for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil…
Bad Tatzmannsdorf will be a familiar base for a lot of the current squad and coach Niko Kovač, as Croatia were based there ahead of the 2008 EURO in Austria and Switzerland, and before the 2012 EURO.
“For us there was no debate. I prepared as a player here for EURO 2008 and I have excellent experiences. The hosts are unbelievably friendly, and the conditions to work in are perfect. It is what we need,” said Croatia’s coach Kovač.
Croatia will head to Bad Tatzmannsdorf on 21 May where they will train and play friendly matches, before travelling to Brazil on 3 June where they will be based at the Tivoli camp. (pic: HNS)
