Brodosplit will produce 21 steel damns for the Malamocco inlet, which will protect Venice from floods. The steel doors will be 24 metres long and 29 metres high, weighing 300 tonnes each. The project, which the Split company won in an international tender, is worth a reported 26.5 million euros. Delivery of the steel doors is expected within two months. (pic: Brodosplit.hr)
