3 Concerts in 3 Cities Raises Millions for Flood Victims

The majority of Croatia’s music stars got together on Monday night to perform 3 simultaneous concerts in three of the country’s biggest cities to raise money for victims affected by last week’s devastating floods…
Free concerts in the capital Zagreb, Split and Rijeka last night raised more than 3 million kuna (400,000 euros) as the crowd and television viewers were invited to make donations.
On Zagreb’s main square, Adastra, Ivan Zak, Begini and Kandžija, Concordia Discors & Izvor, Bosutski bećari, Novi fosili, Psihomodo Pop, Severina, Mejaši i Leteći odred, Aerodrom, Bare i Majke, Parni Valjak, Vatra, Massimo, Belan i Fiumensi, Colonia, Silente, Elemental and Hladno Pivo performed, whilst Croatia’s President Ivo Josipović, a renowned piano player, took to the stage to also perform a number.
On Split’s waterfront Azil, Klapa HRM, Goran Karan, Marijan Ban i diktatori, Meri & klapa Cambi, Meri Cetinić, TBF, Doris, Ibrica Jusić, Guliano, Klapa Cambi ST, Gibonni, Klapa Rišpet, Jelena Rozga, Alen Nižetić, Jole, Grupa Libar, Klapa Sinj and Gego & Justin Johnson performed for the large crowd, and in Rijeka, Nikita, Pleteri, Forza Fiume, Koktelsi, Putokazi, Duško Jeličić & Bonaca, Gustafi – Rijeka, Alen Polić & Kaljinke, The PENNY Black Remedy, Urban & 4, En Face, Blagdan Band, Let 3, Belfast Food, The Riverpool, Šajeta & ‘The Shaiones’, Atomsko sklonište, Morso, Krešo i Kisele Kiše, and Grupa Gerila ex GRAD entertained the crowd.
