FORBES MAGAZINE: Croat Tops Regional Rich List

Croatian retail tycoon Ivica Todorić has held on to his spot as the wealthiest businessmen in the region, according to the June edition of Forbes magazine, which has produced a list of the wealthiest men in the former Yugoslavia….
Todorić, who owns Croatia’s largest supermarket chain Konzum and brands Jamnica, Ledo and Zvijezda under his Agrokor company, comfortably tops the list with an estimated wealth of 735 million euros. Behind Todorić in second place on the list with an estimated wealth of 520 million euros is Serbian entrepreneur of Montenegrin heritage Miodrag Kostić, who owns the agribusiness company MK Group. In third spot with 460 million euros is Slovenian consumer marketing baron Sandi Češko. The next highest placed Croat on the list was Atlantic Grupa CEO Emil Tedeschi with an estimated wealth of 290 million euros.
